Corporate Compliance Counsel - Houston, Texas - FILLED
Global company located in Houston seeks a 6-15 year attorney to handle corporate compliance matters.

As the primary point of contact for corporate compliance, this is an outstanding career growth opportunity in a highly visible position within the legal department. The position reports to the Associate General Counsel – Corporate.

Responsibilities include:

- Acting as the primary attorney for matters involving international trade (e.g. customs, import/export issues), FCPA, and some antitrust matters
- Managing company audits
- Working with outside counsel on specialty areas and international matters
- Performing additional responsibilities as required

Requirements:

- Ability to independently handle a broad range of international trade issues and work with cross-functional teams comprised of individuals at all levels of the organization
- Sound judgment and excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and initiative
